Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within a professional and ethical framework.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and residents’ families.
- Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and local policies.
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and participate in audits.
- Promote health, dignity, and wellbeing for all residents.
- Supervise and delegate duties to healthcare assistants.
- Participate in infection control, safety, and quality assurance measures.
- Support induction and mentoring of new staff and students.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) – essential.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
