Children’s Health Ireland is seeking a Staff Grade Psychologist to join its Neuromuscular Research Project team in Dublin. This fixed-term, part-time role offers the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge paediatric research in collaboration with Trinity College Dublin and the HSE.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical psychological input for neuromuscular disorder research participants.
- Conduct assessments and contribute to intervention planning in line with ethical and clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychology, paediatrics, and research staff.
- Support data collection, analysis, and publication of research outcomes.
- Contribute to supervision, audit, and service development as directed by the Psychology Manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A recognised postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology.
- Current registration or eligibility for registration with CORU.
- Experience in paediatric, disability, or neuromuscular services desirable.
- Strong research and report-writing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Grade: Psychologist – Clinical (Code 3689).
- Salary Scale (as of 1 August 2025): €58,599 – €99,120 per annum (pro-rata for part-time) in line with the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales.
- Contract Type: Fixed Term, Part-Time.
- Public sector pension and annual leave entitlements apply.
