Cpl Resources is seeking an experienced IT Technician to provide technical support at a manufacturing site in Sligo, serving both local and European operations. This permanent role offers hands-on experience in maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth system performance, and supporting end users across multiple sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on-site and remote IT support for hardware, software, and mobile devices.
- Configure, build, and deploy PCs and software via the Service Desk.
- Maintain AV and conferencing systems across multiple locations.
- Troubleshoot Windows, networking, and printing issues.
- Manage ITSM tickets, ensuring timely resolutions and SLA compliance.
- Provide VIP support for senior management and key stakeholders.
- Support local infrastructure (servers, routers, switches, and WAN).
- Track IT assets and ensure compliant disposal of outdated equipment.
- Contribute to IT improvement projects and local technology initiatives.
- Maintain proactive communication and excellent customer service.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in IT or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3 years’ IT desktop/helpdesk experience in a networked environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Active Directory, EndPoint Manager, and antivirus tools.
- Strong skills in PC builds, deployments, and mobile device setup.
- Working knowledge of LAN/WAN/VPN networking.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving ability with an independent work ethic.
- Flexible approach to on-call and project-based work.
