Belong To seeks a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead Ireland’s national LGBTQ+ youth organisation through its next phase of growth. Based in Dublin 2 with blended/remote flexibility, this is a full-time, paid executive role offering €80,000–€96,000 annually for 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Lead implementation of the 2025–2027 “You Belong Here” strategic plan.
Direct organisational operations, youth services, advocacy, and partnerships.
Strengthen digital engagement and innovate youth work models.
Champion inclusion, equality, and LGBTQ+ rights nationally and internationally.
Drive fundraising and resource development with the Director of Development.
Ensure sustainability through strong governance, systems, and people investment.
Represent the organisation across public, private, and policy networks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven senior leadership experience, preferably in the nonprofit or social advocacy sector.
Demonstrated commitment to human rights, equality, and youth development.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strategic thinker with financial and operational oversight expertise.
Ability to inspire, lead, and build inclusive teams.
