Brothers of Charity Services Ireland, a leading provider of disability support services across Ireland, is inviting applications for a Permanent Part-Time Instructor Supervisor (Disability Services) based in Galway City. This position (Ref: 88133) is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants and falls under the HSE West and North West health region.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and support day service participants in achieving individual goals.
• Plan and deliver meaningful activities, workshops, and skills development programmes.
• Provide instruction and guidance to service users in vocational, personal, and social development.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with HSE and service standards.
• Contribute to care planning and liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
• Promote inclusion and community participation for people with intellectual disabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant qualification in Social Care, Education, or a related field.
• Previous experience in disability or social care services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of HSE and HIQA standards desirable.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade: Workshop Supervisor / Instructor (Code 6425).
• Salary per HSE Consolidated Pay Scales (effective 1 August 2025).
• Contract Type: Permanent Part-Time.
