Bon Secours Health System Cork is seeking an experienced IT Business Services Manager to lead the hospital’s information technology operations. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for an ambitious professional with a background in healthcare informatics or IT management in large, complex organisations.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage IT business services and ensure alignment with hospital objectives
• Act as a Business Relationship Manager, liaising across clinical and administrative departments
• Oversee IT operations and quality management processes
• Coordinate business analysis, account management, and project management functions
• Support the implementation and optimisation of Clinical Information Management Systems
• Use workflow mapping and project management software to improve efficiency and governance
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Third-level qualification in a clinical, computing, or related field; OR 5+ years’ healthcare informatics experience
• Proven track record in business or IT management within healthcare or large organisations
• Desirable: Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2)
• Strong IT proficiency, including advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
