The Health Service Executive (HSE) South West is seeking applications for the role of Multi Task Attendant in Day Care Centres across Cork and Kerry. This vital patient and client care position supports older persons and community services within Primary Care. Positions are available on both a permanent wholetime and part-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide cleaning, catering, and general support duties within HSE Day Care Centres.
• Assist clients with mobility and activities of daily living where required.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for service users.
• Support the multidisciplinary team in ensuring a high standard of care.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols.
• Carry out assigned duties in line with HSE policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience in healthcare, support, or community care settings desirable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a care team.
• Knowledge of health and safety in a care environment.
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations as required.
• Garda vetting and satisfactory references will be required prior to appointment.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade: Attendant – Multi Task 6015 (Patient and Client Care)
• Salary scale as per HSE consolidated salary scales effective 1 August 2025.
• Employment types: Permanent Wholetime and Permanent Part-time available.
