The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking a skilled and experienced Grade V Human Resources Support Officer (Grád V Oifigeach Tacaíochta Acmhainní Daonna) for Regional Hospital Mullingar. This permanent, whole-time role offers an opportunity to play a vital part in HR operations within a busy healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support HR management in implementing recruitment, staffing, and personnel processes.
• Administer HR systems and maintain employee records in compliance with data protection and HSE standards.
• Assist in workforce planning, recruitment campaigns, and onboarding.
• Supervise and support HR administrative staff.
• Prepare HR reports, statistics, and documentation for audits and management meetings.
• Ensure compliance with HSE HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Significant experience in a busy HR environment, including recruitment systems.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
• Proficiency in HR information systems and data reporting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven staff supervision experience.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary aligned with the HSE Grade V (0566) pay scale effective from 1 August 2025, as per Department of Health Circular 6/2025.
Permanent, whole-time position with full public sector benefits, including pension scheme and leave entitlements.
