Porter Ford in Sligo is seeking a motivated Vehicle Sales Executive to deliver exceptional customer experiences and grow pre-owned passenger and commercial vehicle sales. This full-time, on-site role offers the opportunity to join a dedicated team and contribute directly to business growth.

Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain strong relationships by exceeding customer expectations
• Develop deep product knowledge across all vehicle ranges, pricing, promotions and funding options
• Prospect actively via cold calling, email outreach and database tools
• Follow up promptly on all website leads, enquiries and customer communications
• Adhere to and improve the structured sales process to maximise conversion
• Achieve agreed vehicle sales targets
• Promote and sell finance, warranty and accessory add-ons
• Deliver expert guidance on all vehicles and funding structures (PCP, Hire Purchase, etc.)
• Participate in promotional activities to raise brand awareness
• Qualify customer needs and present tailored product solutions
• Conduct professional vehicle handovers
• Maintain consistent pre- and post-sale communication
• Update CRM and showroom management systems daily
• Complete all required administration and paperwork
• Ensure compliance with relevant sales legislation
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years’ retail experience
• Strong communication and customer engagement skills
• Proven ability to close sales and convert enquiries
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email)
• CRM experience desirable
• Comfortable using technology throughout the customer journey
• Confident presenting on camera for promotional content
• Effective prospecting and needs-analysis skills
• Strong time management and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Professional presentation and behaviour
• Full clean driver’s licence essential
