An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Plumber Portlaoise to join the Maintenance Department at St Fintan’s Hospital. This permanent whole-time role supports the safe and efficient operation of healthcare facilities. A regional panel may also be formed to support future vacancies across Dublin and the Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out plumbing maintenance and repair works across hospital facilities
• Install, service, and maintain water, drainage, and heating systems
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and infection control standards
• Respond to emergency maintenance issues as required
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Work collaboratively with engineering and facilities teams
• Support planned preventative maintenance programmes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Recognised trade qualification as a Plumber
• Relevant post-qualification experience in a similar environment
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience in healthcare or large facilities is desirable
