Mid West Mental Health Services are recruiting Attendant Aides (Grade 6415) to support the delivery of high-quality, responsive household and support services across designated locations in County Clare. This role plays a vital part in maintaining safe, hygienic, and supportive environments for service users and staff in line with national standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality household and support services across assigned facilities
• Maintain hygiene standards in accordance with National Infection Control Policies
• Adhere to HIQA Hygiene Standards and Food Handling Legislation
• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of mental health services
• Ensure a safe, clean, and respectful environment for service users
• Follow Mid West Mental Health Services policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality support services
• Knowledge or willingness to learn infection control and hygiene standards
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work across different locations as required
• Experience in a healthcare or support environment is desirable but not essential
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary: In line with HSE Attendant Aide Grade 6415 consolidated pay scales (effective 1 August 2025)

– Fixed Term Wholetime
– Permanent Wholetime
– Specified Purpose Part-time
– Fixed Term Part-time
