An exciting senior night-duty leadership opportunity is available for a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 at St John’s Community Hospital, Enniscorthy. This role provides overall responsibility for the safe, effective management of the hospital site during night duty, ensuring high standards of care, governance, and staff leadership across Older Persons Residential & Rehabilitation Services.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide autonomous clinical and operational leadership for the hospital during night duty
• Manage site-wide clinical decision-making, risk management, and incident response
• Coordinate emergency responses and escalation pathways out of hours
• Ensure compliance with HSE, HIQA, and local governance standards
• Lead, supervise, and support nursing and multidisciplinary teams on night duty
• Maintain effective communication, documentation, and structured handover to day management
• Monitor patient safety, staffing levels, and service continuity overnight
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a Nurse on the NMBI Register
• Significant post-registration experience, including senior nursing leadership
• Demonstrated experience managing a whole site or multiple units on night duty
• Proven knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory requirements for Older Persons Services
• Strong leadership, communication, and autonomous decision-making skills
• Evidence of effective incident, risk, and emergency management
