The Health Service Executive is seeking experienced Clinical Nurse Manager II professionals to lead and develop high-quality community-based services for adults with intellectual disabilities across Dublin South & Wicklow. This is a leadership-focused role with responsibility for clinical governance, team management, and service delivery in residential settings.

Current Vacancies

• Two permanent, whole-time posts – Hawthorns Grove Avenue, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin
• One permanent, whole-time post – Farmleigh Park, Stillorgan, Co. Dublin

A panel may be formed to fill future permanent or specified purpose vacancies (full-time or part-time).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and professional leadership within community-based residential services
• Manage and support nursing and care teams, including rostering and performance management
• Ensure high standards of care, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Lead care planning for adults with intellectual disabilities, including complex needs
• Manage services where behaviours of concern are present
• Oversee effective use of resources, staffing, and budgets
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Registered Nurse on the relevant NMBI division
• Significant post-registration experience in intellectual disability or community services
• Demonstrated experience working with behaviours of concern
• Proven people management and leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and clinical governance
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and organisational skills

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

• Salary in line with HSE Clinical Nurse Manager II payscale (€61,463 – €77,666, LSI may apply)
• Permanent whole-time contract
