St Luke’s General Hospital, Kilkenny is seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist to deliver a high-quality, patient-centred service within the HSE Dublin and South East region. This role plays a key part in multidisciplinary care, supporting assessment, diagnosis, and treatment across a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide a high-quality Speech and Language Therapy service in line with professional standards
• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with communication and swallowing difficulties
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Contribute to service planning, development, and evaluation
• Support junior staff and students as required
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports
• Participate in audit, quality improvement, and clinical governance activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy
• Registration with CORU as a Speech and Language Therapist
• Relevant post-qualification clinical experience appropriate to senior grade
• Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuous professional development
