An exceptional opportunity has arisen for two experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) at Linn Dara. These senior clinical roles offer the chance to provide specialist psychiatric leadership within a multidisciplinary service supporting children, adolescents, and their families across Dublin South and Kildare. This is a high-impact consultant position within a nationally recognised public mental health service.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents
• Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary CAMHS team decision-making
• Deliver clinical governance, risk management, and service development leadership
• Supervise and support NCHDs and other clinical staff
• Participate in service planning, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Engage with families, carers, and external agencies to ensure integrated care
• Contribute to on-call and emergency psychiatric services as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
• Fellowship or equivalent postgraduate specialist qualification
• Proven consultant-level experience in child and adolescent mental health services
• Strong leadership, clinical governance, and team management skills
• Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary in line with the Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist salary scale (Grade 1457), as per national HSE pay agreements
