Sligo/Leitrim Disability Services are seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Person in Charge) to provide strong clinical leadership and governance across disability services. This is a senior nursing leadership role with responsibility for quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and service development across designated centres.

Key Responsibilities
• Act as Person in Charge in line with HIQA regulations and HSE policy
• Provide clinical and professional leadership to nursing and care teams
• Ensure high standards of person-centred care and safeguarding
• Oversee clinical governance, risk management, and quality improvement
• Manage staffing, rosters, and workforce planning
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and HSE requirements
• Contribute to service planning, development, and evaluation
• Promote continuous professional development within the team
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered Nurse on the live Register of Nurses and Midwives (NMBI)
• Minimum experience requirements in line with HSE CNM2 criteria
• Proven leadership and management experience in disability or community services
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and regulatory compliance
• Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
• Full, clean driving licence is essential
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary Scale (CNM2 – Grade 2119): €61,463 – €77,666 per annum (inclusive of increments and LSI, subject to eligibility)
