Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a Permanent Wholetime Instructor/Supervisor to join its services in Loughrea, County Galway. This role plays a key part in supporting adults with intellectual disabilities through structured programmes that promote independence, skills development, and community inclusion.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate training and development programmes for service users
• Supervise and support individuals in line with person-centred plans
• Promote independence, social inclusion, and quality of life outcomes
• Maintain high standards of care, safety, and professional practice
• Support and guide staff and volunteers within the service
• Ensure compliance with HSE and organisational policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant qualification suitable to the Instructor/Supervisor grade
• Experience working with people with intellectual disabilities or in a similar care setting
• Strong communication, organisational, and supervisory skills
• Commitment to person-centred care and inclusive practice
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

• Salary in line with HSE Workshop Supervisor / Instructor Grade 6425 pay scales
