The Health Service Executive (HSE) Dublin and North East is seeking a Scheduled Care Manager (Grade VI) to support the effective planning, coordination, and delivery of scheduled care services in Cavan. This permanent, whole-time management role plays a key part in improving patient access, service efficiency, and operational performance across hospital services.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Director of Operations in managing scheduled care pathways
• Coordinate waiting list management and elective activity planning
• Analyse service performance data and contribute to improvement initiatives
• Liaise with clinical, administrative, and management teams
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and governance requirements
• Contribute to service redesign and operational planning
• Prepare reports and briefings for senior management
• Support quality, patient safety, and risk management processes
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent professional experience
• Demonstrated experience in healthcare administration or service management
• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
• Experience working in a complex public service or healthcare environment
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• Knowledge of scheduled care, waiting list management, or hospital operations is desirable
