A panel may be formed for future permanent and specified purpose vacancies (full-time or part-time) within IHA Dublin South & Wicklow.
The Clinical Nurse Manager II Dublin role provides clinical leadership within community residential services for adults with intellectual disabilities. The post holder will oversee care standards, manage staff and resources, and ensure high-quality service delivery in line with HSE policies and HIQA standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide clinical and professional leadership within community residential services
• Ensure high standards of nursing care for adults with intellectual disabilities
• Manage and supervise nursing and care staff
• Lead care planning and review processes
• Oversee management of behaviours of concern in line with best practice
• Manage resources effectively, including staffing and budgets
• Ensure compliance with HIQA, HSE policies and safeguarding procedures
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered General Nurse or Registered Nurse Intellectual Disability with NMBI
• Significant post-registration experience in community-based residential services
• Demonstrated experience working with adults presenting behaviours of concern
• Proven people management and resource management experience
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
• Evidence of continuous professional development
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale (August 2025 consolidated scale, Grade 2119 Clinical Nurse Manager 2):
€61,463 – €77,666 (LSI) per annum, dependent on experience
