Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care within community healthcare settings
- Support patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of treatment plans
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Promote patient independence and wellbeing within the community
- Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation
- Deliver person-centred care in line with HSE policies and professional standards
- Support health promotion and disease prevention initiatives
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Registration as a General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to delivering patient-focused community healthcare services
- Excellent organisational and clinical decision-making skills
- Full Driver’s Licence and access to appropriate transport to fulfil the requirements of the role
- Previous community nursing experience is desirable but not essential
