Job Overview

The Digital Health Project Manager Grade VII role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the ongoing digital transformation of healthcare services within HSE Dublin and North East. The role involves managing technology-enabled healthcare projects from proposal and planning through to implementation and operational transition.

This position is suited to candidates with strong ICT delivery experience, healthcare systems knowledge, and the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously within a large-scale healthcare organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage digital health and ICT transformation projects across HSE Dublin and North East services
  • Coordinate project planning, implementation, governance, and operational transition activities
  • Engage with healthcare stakeholders, ICT teams, clinicians, and management to support successful project delivery
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while ensuring efficient use of available resources
  • Support the implementation of healthcare technology solutions aligned with regional strategic objectives
  • Monitor project timelines, risks, budgets, and performance outcomes
  • Prepare project documentation, reports, and implementation proposals
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation within healthcare digital services

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum three years’ experience delivering ICT services or technology-enabled transformation within a complex healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated project management experience within a multi-stakeholder healthcare organisation
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems in Ireland and the Dublin North East Region
  • Knowledge of digital healthcare transformation and ICT-enabled change management
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience supporting operational transition and implementation delivery

This is a Permanent Wholetime position based within HSE Dublin and North East services.
