Central Remedial Clinic (CRC) is seeking passionate and motivated Staff Grade Occupational Therapists to join its Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNTs) across Dublin. These permanent opportunities offer the chance to work within multidisciplinary teams delivering family-centred care to children and young people aged 0–18 years with complex developmental needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for Occupational Therapists looking to develop their careers within progressive disability services while contributing to meaningful outcomes for children and families. CRC is currently undertaking a major organisational transformation programme in partnership with the Virginia Mason Institute, supporting innovation, continuous improvement, and lean healthcare practices across services.
Job Overview
The Staff Grade Occupational Therapist will work as part of CRC Children’s Disability Network Teams located across Dublin North and surrounding areas. Successful candidates will support children presenting with complex developmental, intellectual, physical, and autism-related needs through evidence-based occupational therapy interventions within an interdisciplinary environment.
Both full-time and part-time permanent positions are available across the following CDNT locations:
- CDNT Balbriggan
- CDNT Clondalkin
- CDNT Clontarf
- CDNT Swords
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy assessment and intervention services to children and young people with complex developmental needs
- Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary Children’s Disability Network Teams
- Support family-centred practice models aligned with Progressing Disability Services
- Develop and implement individualised therapy programmes and intervention plans
- Participate in assessment processes including Assessment of Need where required
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and professional standards
- Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives
- Engage with families, schools, and external stakeholders to support integrated care pathways
Required Skills & Qualifications
- A recognised Occupational Therapist qualification
- Registration or eligibility for registration with CORU as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong initiative, organisation, and time management abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility and adaptability within dynamic clinical environments
- Full driving licence and access to own vehicle is desirable
Desirable Experience:
- Experience working with children with intellectual disabilities
- Experience working with children with physical disabilities
- Experience supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Experience completing Assessment of Need processes
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary is aligned with the Department of Health Staff Grade Occupational Therapist pay scale ranging from €45,063 to €64,424 per annum.
