Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily support and care to service users within a residential or placement setting
- Assist with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
- Support service users in participating in meaningful social and recreational activities
- Liaise with social workers and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate updates to the Team Leader
- Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all service users
- Encourage independence and positive wellbeing among service users
- Assist with daily living activities and emotional support where required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Healthcare, Childcare, or a relevant discipline
- Previous experience in healthcare or residential care settings is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Full driving licence preferred
- Willingness to travel as required
- Ability to commute to or relocate to Sligo, County Sligo
- Compassionate, patient, and professional approach to care
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Salary: €32,691.36 per year
