The Advanced Nurse Practitioner Candidate (Mental Health) role supports the delivery of specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) Emergency Department Liaison services in Kerry. Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced nursing assessment and intervention for children and adolescents presenting with mental health concerns.
- Support Emergency Department liaison services within CAMHS settings.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary mental health teams across Kerry.
- Assist in developing and implementing individualised care plans.
- Promote best practice standards in child and adolescent mental health nursing.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification with appropriate Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) registration.
- Experience in mental health nursing and child and adolescent mental health services.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Commitment to patient-centred mental health care and continuous professional development.
- Understanding of CAMHS frameworks, emergency mental health intervention, and clinical governance.
- Experience in acute mental health or emergency department settings is desirable.
