About the Role
Wexford General Hospital is seeking applications for the position of Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) within the Paediatric Department. This permanent whole-time opportunity is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.
The successful candidate will play a key leadership role in supporting the delivery of high-quality paediatric nursing care, promoting best practice standards, and contributing to the effective management of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and supervise nursing staff within the Paediatric Department.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care.
- Promote clinical excellence and adherence to professional standards.
- Assist with service planning, quality improvement initiatives, and staff development.
- Maintain effective communication with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families.
- Support compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
