What You’ll Be Responsible For

As a Sales Executive, your mission will be to generate leads, build strong customer relationships, and achieve sales targets across both new and used vehicles. You will become an expert in Mercedes-Benz products and finance offerings, ensuring that each customer receives tailored guidance and a seamless purchasing experience.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Prospecting new customers through databases, online leads, referrals, and inbound queries.
  • Following the structured Connolly’s sales process to maximize every opportunity.
  • Meeting and exceeding monthly and annual sales targets and profit objectives.
  • Presenting vehicle features, finance packages (PCP, HP, leasing), and insurance products clearly and compliantly.
  • Coordinating test drives, evaluating part-exchanges, and providing accurate valuations.
  • Managing the full sales administration process, from deal file creation to vehicle taxation.
  • Performing professional vehicle handovers, ensuring customer satisfaction post-sale.
  • Maintaining accurate records within our CRM system (Kerridge) and following up post-sale to encourage repeat business.
  • Attending promotional and showroom events to represent Connolly’s Mercedes-Benz and generate new leads.

What Makes You a Strong Candidate?

To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a natural communicator, a customer service champion, and a target-driven professional with a passion for sales. While automotive sales experience is a plus, it is not essential — we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.

Essential Skills & Competencies:

  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close sales with confidence.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills, both in-person and via digital communication.
  • Ability to learn and explain financial products, vehicle specifications, and brand technologies.
  • Excellent time management, ensuring multiple deals are handled efficiently and professionally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with Kerridge is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate administrative skills.
  • A full, clean driving license is essential.
