Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive assessment and clinical management of patients with epilepsy and related neurological conditions
- Conduct detailed patient consultations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor medication effectiveness and manage therapeutic interventions
- Educate patients and families about epilepsy management and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records

Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Relevant postgraduate qualification in Advanced Nursing Practice or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in neurology or related specialty
- Fluent English language proficiency (written and verbal)
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in epilepsy care or seizure management
- Advanced life support certification
- Experience with electronic patient record systems
- Research or audit experience in neurological care
- Additional neurological specialty training or certifications
