Job Overview
The Clinical Nurse Education Facilitator will play a key role in supporting nursing education, clinical competency development, and evidence-based practice within Oak Ward at Children’s Health Ireland. Working closely with nursing management and multidisciplinary teams, the successful candidate will help foster a culture of professional development and high clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of nursing education programmes within Oak Ward
- Provide mentorship and clinical guidance to nursing staff and newly appointed team members
- Promote evidence-based nursing practice and continuous professional development
- Assist with clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programmes
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse or Children’s Nurse with active NMBI registration

- Experience in staff education, mentorship, or clinical facilitation is desirable
- Strong communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Commitment to professional development and patient-centred care

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary will be aligned with the Clinical Nurse Manager 2 pay scale and relevant public sector terms and conditions.
