About the Role
As Clinical Nurse Manager 1 specializing in CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) and Adult Mental Health, you’ll provide clinical and professional leadership within our integrated mental health services. Based at Linn Dara Approved Centre, Cherry Orchard Hospital Campus, you’ll be responsible for managing recovery-oriented care and ensuring optimal standards for service users across our designated areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage clinical nursing teams in mental health service delivery
- Develop and implement recovery-oriented integrated care plans for service users
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to nursing staff and students
- Coordinate in-service training and orientation programs for new team members
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies and clinical governance standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor and evaluate quality of care within designated service areas
Required Qualifications
Essential Requirements
- Registration with NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland)
- Post-qualification experience in mental health nursing
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience in clinical settings
- Knowledge of recovery-oriented approaches in mental health care
- Understanding of child, adolescent, and adult mental health principles
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-graduate qualification in mental health nursing or management
- Experience working within HSE or similar healthcare organizations
- Training in clinical supervision and staff development
- Knowledge of HSE policies and procedures
- Experience with both CAMHS and adult mental health services
