The Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (Theatre) role at Regional Hospital Mullingar offers an excellent leadership opportunity within a busy acute hospital setting. This permanent whole-time post in the Theatre Department is ideal for an experienced theatre nurse ready to step into a frontline management position within HSE Dublin and Midlands.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and operational management within the Theatre Department.
- Ensure high standards of perioperative nursing care in line with HSE policies and national standards.
- Support, supervise and develop nursing staff within the theatre environment.
- Coordinate theatre activities to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and risk management processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centred surgical care.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse on the live register maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in Theatre Nursing relevant to the role.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity is desirable.
- Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage staff, resources and clinical workloads effectively.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
