📌 Job Overview
The HSE West & North‑West invites applications from both internal HSE staff and external candidates for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager 2, specialising in Cancer Services. You will demonstrate extensive post‑registration experience across Haematology, Oncology, Radiotherapy, Lung Cancer, and Palliative Care nursing, ensuring exceptional care delivery across the cancer pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead clinical teams across multidisciplinary cancer services
- Coordinate and enhance nursing care in Haematology, Oncology, Radiotherapy, Lung Cancer, and Palliative Care
- Ensure compliance with HSE nursing policies and national cancer care standards
- Mentor and support staff professional development in line with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland guidelines
- Collaborate with medical, diagnostic, and allied health services to optimise patient pathways
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Be a registered nurse with An Bord Altranais agus Cnáimhseachais na hÉireann
- Proven expertise in cancer service nursing (Haematology, Oncology, Radiotherapy, Lung Cancer, Palliative Care)
- Prior management or leadership experience at CNM2 level or equivalent
- Strong communication, organisational and patient-centred approach
