The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Cork opportunity within Digital Care Programmes offers a leadership role at the forefront of healthcare transformation. Based in the Cork Kerry Region and co-located with the Technology and Transformation Team, this post supports innovative digital health initiatives across HSE South West.

This is a Specified Purpose Wholetime contract open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership within Digital Care Programmes across HSE South West.
- Support the implementation and optimisation of digital health solutions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including the Technology and Transformation Team.
- Ensure high standards of clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement.
- Contribute to service planning, reporting, and performance management.
- Support staff development, mentoring, and change management initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience at CNM1 level or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in leadership, service development, or digital health initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance and quality improvement frameworks.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
