This Clinical Nurse Manager 2 opportunity in Cork or Kerry offers a leadership role within Health Protection / Public Health services in HSE South West. The successful candidate will play a key role in infection prevention, communicable disease control, and public health nursing management across the region.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage nursing services within Health Protection / Public Health.
- Support communicable disease prevention and control initiatives.
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, clinical governance, and best practice standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Cork and Kerry.
- Contribute to service planning, quality improvement, and audit activities.
- Maintain accurate reporting and documentation in line with public health requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse on the live register maintained by NMBI.
- Minimum experience requirements as outlined in the official Job Specification.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience at senior nursing level.
- Strong knowledge of public health and health protection practices.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary is aligned to the Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Grade 2119) consolidated pay scale effective 1 August 2025, ranging from €61,463 to €77,666 (LSI) per annum in accordance with Department of Health Circular 6/2025 :contentReference[oaicite:0]{index=0}.
