The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Cavan Monaghan role offers an excellent opportunity to lead and develop Disability Services within HSE Dublin and North East. This permanent whole-time post is suited to an experienced nurse leader committed to high-quality, person-centred care and strong clinical governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and operational leadership within Disability Services.
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care in line with HSE standards.
- Supervise, support and develop nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
- Lead on clinical governance, risk management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Manage staffing resources effectively and support workforce planning.
- Maintain compliance with HIQA standards, policies and national guidelines.
- Engage with service users, families and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse or Registered Intellectual Disability Nurse with active NMBI registration.
- Minimum required post-registration experience in line with HSE Clinical Nurse Manager 2 criteria.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience.
- Experience within Disability Services is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance and quality standards.
- Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.

- Salary Scale: Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Grade Code 2119).
- €61,463 – €77,666 per annum (1 August 2025 scale)
