The Clinical Nurse Manager II Kildare position offers an exciting leadership opportunity within the Community Intervention Team (CIT) serving Kildare West Wicklow. This permanent wholetime role is ideal for an experienced nurse with strong community or acute clinical experience who is ready to lead, coordinate, and enhance high-quality patient care in a dynamic community setting.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide clinical and operational leadership within the Community Intervention Team
• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care in the community
• Supervise and support nursing staff and multidisciplinary colleagues
• Oversee care planning, case management, and service coordination
• Maintain compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and professional standards
• Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Liaise effectively with acute hospitals and community services
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered General Nurse on the live register maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• Minimum required post-registration experience in community nursing or acute clinic-based services
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of relevant clinical experience
• Proven leadership and team management capability
• Strong communication, organisational, and decision-making skills
• Full access to appropriate transport to fulfil the requirements of the role
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary is aligned with the Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Grade 2119) HSE consolidated pay scale. As per the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 August 2025 , the annual salary scale for Clinical Nurse Manager 2 ranges from €61,463 to €77,666 (including LSI).
