Children’s Health Ireland is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNM2 Grade) Dermatology to join its specialist nursing team in Dublin South. This permanent whole-time opportunity offers the chance to lead and advance dermatology nursing services within a nationally recognised paediatric healthcare environment.

Job Overview
The Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNM2) Dermatology will provide expert clinical leadership in dermatology nursing practice. The post holder will support high-quality, evidence-based care delivery while contributing to service development, patient education, and multidisciplinary collaboration across Children’s Health Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist dermatology nursing care within paediatric services.
- Act as a clinical resource and expert advisor to nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop and implement evidence-based care pathways and protocols.
- Support patient and family education in dermatological conditions and treatments.
- Participate in audit, quality improvement, and service development initiatives.
- Contribute to staff training, mentorship, and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, and organisational standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registration as a Nurse on the relevant division of the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Minimum experience requirements aligned with Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Grade Code 2119).
- Demonstrated experience in dermatology nursing practice.
- Evidence of continuing professional development in a relevant specialty.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Grade: Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (Grade Code 2119).
- Salary Scale (effective 1 August 2025): €61,463 – €77,666 (LSI applicable)
- Contract Type: Permanent Wholetime.
