University Hospital Waterford is seeking a Temporary Consultant Dermatologist to join its specialist team within HSE Dublin and South East. This is a specified purpose, whole-time position offering the opportunity to deliver high-quality dermatology services in a dynamic acute hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive dermatology services including outpatient and inpatient care.
- Lead and support dermatology clinics, ensuring timely assessment and treatment of patients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and integrated care pathways.
- Supervise and mentor NCHDs and junior medical staff.
- Contribute to service planning, quality improvement, and clinical governance initiatives.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HSE standards.
- Engage in audit, research, and continuous professional development activities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Full registration in the Specialist Division of the Medical Council of Ireland (Dermatology).
- Relevant postgraduate qualification and specialist training in Dermatology.
- Proven experience at Consultant level or equivalent.
- Strong clinical decision-making and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.

- Salary aligned with the HSE Consultant pay scale (Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales, effective 1 August 2025).
- Specified Purpose Wholetime contract.
