Job Overview
Naas General Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Radiologist to join its team on a Temporary Wholetime (Specified Purpose) basis. This is an outstanding opportunity to contribute at senior consultant level within HSE Dublin and Midlands, delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services in a busy acute hospital environment.
The successful candidate will report to the Clinical Director and/or General Manager and will play a key role in clinical leadership, service delivery, and patient care excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive radiology services across relevant modalities.
- Lead and support multidisciplinary team collaboration within the hospital.
- Ensure high standards of diagnostic accuracy and reporting.
- Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and support NCHDs and other medical staff where applicable.
- Contribute to service development within Radiology at Naas General Hospital.
- Maintain compliance with HSE policies and professional standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registration as a Specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Medical Council in Ireland (Radiology).
- Significant experience at Consultant or equivalent senior level in Radiology.
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnostic imaging and reporting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary will be aligned with the approved HSE Consultant Radiologist (Grade 118X) salary scale in accordance with the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (1 August 2025) and relevant public service agreements.
