Corlann Ireland is seeking a dedicated Day Service Facilitator Disability Services professional to join its team in Killaloe, Co. Clare. This role supports individuals with disabilities in achieving meaningful participation, personal development, and independence within a structured day service environment.
This is a Specified Purpose Wholetime opportunity within a publicly funded Section 38 organisation operating under HSE Mid West.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individuals with disabilities to achieve personal goals and maximise independence.
- Facilitate structured day programmes tailored to individual needs and abilities.
- Promote social inclusion, community engagement, and meaningful activity participation.
- Implement person-centred planning and maintain accurate documentation.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families.
- Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment at all times.
- Adhere to organisational policies, safeguarding procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant qualification in social care, disability studies, or a related field.
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of person-centred approaches and safeguarding practices.
- Eligibility to work in Ireland.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary is aligned with the Workshop Supervisor / Instructor 6425 scale under the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (1 August 2025) .
