Job Overview

Corlann Ireland is seeking a dedicated Day Service Facilitator Disability Services to join its team in Killaloe, Co. Clare. This specified purpose wholetime position plays a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve meaningful participation, independence, and personal development within a structured day service environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with disabilities in achieving personal goals and meaningful daily outcomes.
  • Facilitate structured day programmes, workshops, and skill-development activities.
  • Promote independence, social inclusion, and community engagement.
  • Implement individual support plans in line with organisational policies and HIQA standards.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and external agencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to review and planning meetings.
  • Ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for all service users.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in Social Care, Disability Studies, Healthcare Support, or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to facilitate group activities and structured programmes.
  • Knowledge of person-centred planning and safeguarding principles.
  • Full clean driving licence (desirable depending on service needs).

  • Salary aligned to the Workshop Supervisor / Instructor 6425 scale in accordance with Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (1 August 2025).
