About the Role
As Deputy Store Manager, you will work alongside the Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive performance, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience for customers. This is a hands-on role with real accountability — overseeing a team, managing stock, maintaining shop floor standards, and contributing directly to the store’s KPI targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of the store
- Drive a target-focused approach to key performance indicators
- Manage, motivate, and develop the store team
- Maintain excellent shop floor presentation at all times
- Ensure adequate stock levels are consistently maintained
- Deliver outstanding customer service on every shift
Requirements
- Leaving Certificate or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in a fast-paced environment
- Full, clean driving licence
- Proven ability to work under pressure, hit targets, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work varying shift patterns
- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager is an advantage, though not essential
