Job Overview
The Director of Nursing Band 2 – Regional Immunisation Programme will provide strategic nursing and operational leadership across immunisation services within HSE Dublin and North East. Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic direction for regional immunisation services.
- Support the development and implementation of vaccination programmes across the region.
- Ensure clinical governance, quality assurance, and patient safety standards are maintained.
- Lead multidisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals and regional stakeholders.
- Support workforce planning, staff development, and nursing leadership initiatives.
- Monitor service performance and contribute to continuous improvement programmes.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Significant senior nursing leadership experience within healthcare services.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, healthcare quality, and service improvement.
- Experience managing complex healthcare programmes or public health initiatives is desirable.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a large healthcare environment.
