Job Overview
The General Manager HSE Dublin North role offers a senior leadership opportunity within the Integrated Service Delivery Model in IHA Dublin North County. This permanent wholetime position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, integrated healthcare services across the Dublin and North East Region.
As General Manager (Grade 0041), you will lead service transformation, operational performance, and cross-sector integration aligned with national HSE strategy and regional objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across integrated healthcare services within Dublin North County.
- Deliver service reform aligned with the Health Regions Integrated Service Delivery Model.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centred care delivery.
- Manage budgets, workforce planning, and performance frameworks in line with public sector governance.
- Drive collaboration between acute hospitals, community services, and primary care providers.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, national standards, and statutory requirements.
- Support service innovation, quality improvement, and system-wide transformation initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant third-level qualification in management, healthcare, business, or a related field.
- Significant senior management experience within healthcare or complex public service environments.
- Proven track record in service delivery reform and operational leadership.
- Strong financial management and governance expertise.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of integrated care models and public sector frameworks.
