Job Overview

The Grade V HSE Dublin Midlands campaign offers permanent whole-time opportunities across the Dublin and Midlands region. This internal competition is open to eligible employees within the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, and other statutory health agencies in line with WRC Agreement 161867.

Successful candidates will contribute to the effective delivery of management, administrative, and ICT support services, ensuring high standards of operational performance across healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and operational support within assigned services.
  • Coordinate workflows, documentation, and reporting processes to ensure service efficiency.
  • Support line managers in implementing policies, procedures, and service improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with data protection and governance standards.
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders as required.
  • Assist in financial, HR, or ICT-related administrative functions where applicable.
  • Contribute to service planning and quality improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Current employment with the HSE, TUSLA, a Section 38 agency, or other eligible statutory health agency.
  • Relevant administrative, clerical, management, or ICT experience in a healthcare or public service setting.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant ICT systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
  • A thorough understanding of public service governance and compliance requirements is desirable.

Location & Employer Information

This Grade V HSE Dublin Midlands role is based within the HSE Dublin and Midlands health region, covering Longford, Westmeath, Offaly, Laois, Kildare, and parts of Dublin South and Wicklow.

There are currently permanent whole-time vacancies available. A panel may be formed from this campaign to fill current and future permanent or specified purpose vacancies of full or part-time duration within the region.
