The Grade V Staff Officer role in Meath offers an excellent opportunity for experienced administrative professionals within the HSE and associated agencies to contribute to National Pensions Management. This permanent whole-time post plays a key role in supporting pension-related services at a national level.
This is an internal competition only and is open exclusively to employees of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies in line with WRC Agreement 161867.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative and operational support within National Pensions Management.
- Coordinate and process pension-related documentation and records accurately.
- Liaise with internal departments, payroll, and external stakeholders as required.
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and governance standards.
- Maintain confidential records and manage sensitive information appropriately.
- Support reporting, data analysis, and preparation of documentation for management.
- Assist with continuous service improvement initiatives within the department.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Must be a current employee of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agency, or statutory health agency.
- Relevant administrative experience at an appropriate grade level.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative systems.
- Ability to manage workload independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in pensions, payroll, or financial administration (desirable).
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary for this Grade V (0566) position is aligned with the August 2025 HSE Consolidated Salary Scales and Department of Health Circular 6/2025 . Salary will be in accordance with public sector pay policy and based on relevant experience.
