The HSE South West is seeking an experienced Grade VII Operations and Business Manager to support the strategic and operational delivery of the South West Immunisation Service. This senior management role plays a critical part in ensuring effective governance, performance management, and business planning across vaccination services in Cork and the wider South West region.

This is a specified purpose, wholetime position and is open to internal candidates only in line with WRC Agreement 161867.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational and business management support to the SSW Immunisation Service
• Lead on service planning, performance monitoring, and reporting requirements
• Manage budgets, financial controls, and value-for-money initiatives
• Support governance, risk management, and compliance with HSE policies
• Coordinate workforce planning, rostering, and administrative functions
• Contribute to strategic projects aligned with national vaccination programmes
• Act as a senior liaison with internal and external stakeholders

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Eligibility under WRC Agreement 161867 (HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 or statutory health agency employee)
• Significant experience at a senior administrative or management level
• Proven capability in operations, business planning, and performance management
• Strong financial management and analytical skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience working in a complex public sector or healthcare environment

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

• Salary: In line with HSE Grade VII consolidated pay scales (effective 1 August 2025)
• Contract: Specified Purpose, Wholetime

• Working hours aligned with HSE management grades
