The HSE Technology & Transformation SAP Centre of Excellence is recruiting a Grade VII SAP Senior Basis Analyst to support and enhance critical SAP systems used across the Irish health service. This is a senior technical role with national scope, offering flexibility around base location and the opportunity to work on large-scale, enterprise SAP environments that directly support healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide expert SAP Basis administration support across HSE SAP landscapes
• Manage and oversee SAP Transport Management processes
• Support system installations, upgrades, patching, and performance tuning
• Work closely with functional and technical teams to ensure system stability and availability
• Engage with SAP customer support tools, methodologies, and service offerings
• Contribute to the technical design and architecture of SAP systems
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP Centre of Excellence
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Proven experience in SAP Basis Administration
• Demonstrated experience with SAP Transport Management processes
• Strong knowledge of SAP system architecture and technical design
• Experience using SAP customer support tools and methodologies
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary technical teams
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

• Salary: As per HSE Grade VII consolidated salary scale (Department of Health Consolidated Pay Scales, effective 1 August 2025)

Location & Employer Information
This post is based within the SAP Centre of Excellence, Technology & Transformation, with offices located nationwide, including Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Sligo, Kilkenny, Kerry, Offaly, Meath, Louth, and Leitrim.
The specific base location will be agreed at appointment stage. Flexibility around location is supported, subject to agreement on minimum attendance for relevant SAP CoE and Technology & Transformation meetings.
Induction base will be confirmed prior to commencement.
