Bizquip Limited is seeking a full-time IT Support Specialist to join its growing team in Sandyford, County Dublin. This role supports the company’s internal IT environment, delivering first and second line support, managing endpoints, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The position offers a competitive salary of €30,000–€40,000 per year with excellent company benefits.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the first point of contact for internal IT issues via phone, email, and in person.
• Provide day-to-day end-user support, escalating complex issues to the external MSP as needed.
• Manage onboarding processes including account creation and access permissions.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and network cabling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align systems with business needs.
• Participate in strategy meetings on IT improvements, AI, cloud technologies, and system upgrades.
• Support and maintain internal systems such as the ERP, Enterprise Content Management System, and Microsoft 365.
• Maintain the IT asset register and ensure accurate tracking.
• Assist with network troubleshooting (Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Support IT infrastructure projects and upgrades alongside the MSP.
• Maintain clear documentation and IT procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 2–4 years’ experience in an IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Azure, and Active Directory.
• Familiarity with endpoint management and security tools.
• Basic networking skills (DNS, DHCP, IP configuration, VPNs).
• Experience deploying devices, managing updates, and troubleshooting hardware issues.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• CompTIA A+ or Microsoft certifications preferred.
• Experience or interest in AI solutions, Power BI, and working with MSPs.
• Familiarity with Intune is desirable.
