Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital is seeking a Staff Grade Occupational Therapist to deliver a high-quality, person-centred Occupational Therapy service across designated clinical areas. This permanent whole-time role offers the opportunity to work within a large multidisciplinary team across acute, outpatient, and rehabilitation settings in Louth Hospitals.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver evidence-based Occupational Therapy interventions to patients across assigned clinical areas
• Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
• Participate in rotational duties across hospital sites as required
• Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
• Support education and supervision as delegated by senior OT staff
Required Skills & Qualifications
• BSc or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy
• Registration with CORU as an Occupational Therapist
• Demonstrated clinical competence and commitment to person-centred care
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale (1 August 2025): €44,563 – €63,786 per annum (including Long Service Increment)

Location & Employer Information
This role is based at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, with rotation across Louth County Hospital, Dundalk, and The Cottage Pharmacy, Drogheda. The Louth Hospitals Occupational Therapy Department provides services across Medical, Neurology, Stroke, Orthopaedics, Care of the Elderly, Trauma, Critical Care, and Early Supported Discharge for Stroke.
