About the Role
As a Subway Team Member at Applegreen Sligo, you will play a key role in day-to-day store operations. You’ll ensure high food safety standards, maintain a clean and welcoming environment, and work closely with management to achieve sales and service targets. This is a full-time, permanent position offering stability, growth, and hands-on experience in the retail food sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily operations of the Subway counter.
- Prepare and serve fresh, high-quality food according to Subway standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas of the store.
- Follow and enforce all food safety and quality procedures.
- Monitor stock levels and manage deliveries effectively.
- Engage with customers, ensuring friendly and efficient service.
- Assist management in meeting weekly and quarterly business goals.
Required Qualifications
Essential
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive, “can-do” attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to learn and follow company procedures.
Preferred
- Previous experience in food service, retail, or hospitality.
